MisoHeat Marinade for Steaks or Tofu

MisoHeat Marinade for Steaks or Tofu

One of our favorite answers to the question “so what do you put this on?” is talking about how delicious MisoHeat is as a marinade. Vegetarian/vegan and meat eater friendly!

MisoHeat Marinade

1 lb of meat (or tofu)
2 Tbsp MisoHeat
1/4 cup oil (olive or avocado)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce (substitute coconut aminos and splash of lemon juice for vegan option)
1 clove of garlic, minced

1. Combine MisoHeat, oil, worcestershire, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Whisk until emulsified (MisoHeat becomes smooth and oil is blended in).
2. Place meat in a ziplock or sealable container, rub marinade on and coat generously. Flip occasionally to re-coat. Let sit in marinade for 4 hours to overnight, even 24 hours is fine.
3. Grill or sauté the protein to your desired doneness and serve with your favorite sides!

This marinade is really good! I think it only needs half the oil, though. We enjoyed it on our tofu yesterday and I might use it on tempeh next time.
