MisoHeat Roasted tomato and pepper pasta

AKA - fridge clean out night pasta!

Got some extra produce laying around? Make some roasted pasta sauce with a touch of MisoHeat for that extra depth and warmth.

Here’s what we used
- 5 Roma tomatoes
- 1.5 bell peppers
- 1/4 shallot
- 5 garlic cloves
- 5 springs of thyme
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- MisoHeat
- Pasta (from @ilporcellinosalumi)
- Italian sausage

Slice the tomatoes and peppers to maximize surface area for roasting.
Toss the tomatoes, peppers, shallot, garlic, and thyme in a mixture of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread onto a covered baking sheet and roast at 375 until the veggies have a nice color (aprox 40 mins).
Blend roasted veggies in a Vitamix or food processor, adding MisoHeat to taste (we used a heaping teaspoon)
Toss in a pan with your cooked Italian sausage and pasta and a little pasta water, cook until slightly thickened.
Serve and top with Parmesan and basil! r
