Growing up, it wasn’t a game day, movie night, or holiday without my dad Kevin’s famous queso. This dip combines savory sausage and creamy cheese, but is now elevated with depth and spice from MisoHeat for a comforting yet exciting flavor. 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
1/2 can light beer (lagers preferred, the cheaper the better)
16 oz of American cheese, cut into pieces
1 4oz can of mild diced green chiles
1 tsp MisoHeat
1. In a large pot over medium low, brown the sausage
2. Add the beer, cheese and green chiles to the pot
3. Simmer for 15 mins, or until there has been a slight reduction (the key is to let some of the beer cook off, and know that it will thicken more as it cools)
4. Add MisoHeat in the last few minutes to taste (start small, you can always add more!)
